WESTLAKE BOATS POLICY
for Mail-Order Plans Sales

Payment by Check or Money Order:
Payments are to be made in Canadian Funds, by cheque or money order payable to "Westlake Boats". I process your order as soon as the check/money order is cleared by the bank. Money orders are cleared immediately, but a check may take one to ten days to clear. There is a CDN $20.00 penalty charge for each check that is returned or not honored.

Payment by Credit Card:
Sorry, I do not currently accept payment by credit card over the internet. I will accept VISA or MASTERCARD payments by telephone, but you must arrange a time by Email to be sure I am available to take the call.

Taxes:
GST is not charged. 7% PST applies to orders shipped to British Columbia.

Delivery:
I ship the next business day after payment is cleared. Orders are sent via Parcel Post unless requested otherwise. Parcel post shipping charges are listed on the order form. Additional charges apply for other delivery methods. You must provide a postal address where the order can be delivered reliably. If you provide an incorrect address or fail to pick up from the shipper on time, additional shipping and handling charges apply to orders that are returned. Please allow two to three weeks delivery time in Canada and the USA, from when you mail your money order. If there will be any unusual delay in delivery, I will contact you by email or mail to advise of this.
Customers outside North America should contact me to determine shipping and handling charges before sending payment.

Return Policy:
I guarantee your satisfaction with the plans. If for any reason the plans do not meet your expectations, send them back to me within 10 days of delivery in an unused condition via Insured Mail, and I will exchange or refund the purchase price. Handling and Shipping charges are not refundable. Exchanges and returns are processed within the next business day of receipt.

Damaged:
In the unlikely event that a plan arrives to you damaged, please notify me immediately and I will send a replacement at no extra cost to you. If an order is lost by the carrier, I will first try to trace and recover it, and will send another if tracing fails.

Confidentiality:
All information that you provide to "Westlake Boats" is kept confidential. I do not release any customer information to any outside organization. I keep records for internal use only so that I can function efficiently and serve you better.
